Social Hour
What a great time to gather with friends and fellow lawn bowlers. Have fun, share some laughs, get to know one another a little better, and make some friends.
This Social time happens in the winter session from 3:00 to 4:30 after short Mat on Fridays, and during the summer, after the Friday afternoon games.
Cold drinks are available from the bar, and soft drinks and water from the fridge and if you prefer a hot tea, that can also be available.
This is a great way to support your club and maybe make a few new friends.

All Day
Parksville/Qualicum Challenge
Category
We will bowl in Parksville in the morning and Qualicum in the afternoon.
Format – Mixed Triples. 3 bowls per player, 10 ends per game. 8 teams from each club. Two draws. The first draw at Parksville 10 am, the second draw at Qualicum at 2 pm. The winning club will be the club with the most accumulated shots in the 16 games. In the unlikely event that that is a tie, the tie breaker will be the club with the most wins.
Dress – Casual
Optional lunch – will be available after Draw 1 at a cost of $10 per person. Lunch must be pre-ordered by August 4th. Order here>> Menu Ordering
Light refreshments, including the bar, will be available at Qualicum after Draw 2 at the usual prices.
Sign up (below) – First come first served. No Entry Fee to play. Commitment to play in both draws is preferred. Registration for only one draw may be accepted if there is room. Registration for just one draw should indicate a preference for the morning or afternoon draw, or no preference. The Games Committee will determine the makeup of each of the 8 Parksville teams. Registration closes when we have 24 players or 8 pm on August 4th, whichever comes first.
This event is currently closed for registration. Registration ends August 4.
